YR Mission

To encourage our younger members 21 years of age and under to become involved in the sport of Eventing and perhaps continue this involvement into their adult lives.

To make young riders aware of educational opportunities - coaching, course walks, clinics, camp, etc.

To promote and create a true appreciation and understanding of the horse, while at the same time fostering the wonderful relationship that can develop between horse and rider.

To instill in young riders important moral values, such as responsibility and work ethic, as they grow into mature adults.

To develop and field a team to compete at FEI shows and the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships.

Area VII Young riders will give its members a place to build lasting friendships, take part in educational opportunities, be mentored by more experienced young riders and share their love of horses and eventing.
